The first few weeks into a new year can often feel a bit glum, which is why throughout December, we ran a selfie competition to give four lucky people the chance to win a £250 trolley dash to beat the January blues.

To enter, shoppers simply had to snap a selfie at one of our festive selfie spots and share their photos with us on social media.

The trolley dash took place in M&S on Friday 13^th January, which, although may be a day known for its bad luck, proved to be lucky for our four randomly selected winners Sandra, Jorbin, Ben and Lucy.

One of the winners, Ben, said that he was surprised to have won, commenting, “Who knew taking a selfie could lead to living out my 90s Supermarket Sweep fantasy!

“I’m thrilled to be a winner and I will be distributing my haul of goodies to family and neighbours as a little treat to blow away the January blues. Thank you Eden and M&S.”

Lucy, another of the winners, said that she was “delighted to win such a fabulous prize” and was “looking forward to enjoying some scrumptious M&S goodies”.
